Do you have any experience with using magic at all?

My adopted mother is an elf. She tried to teach me, but I only got the basic. I know the spells for basic healing, illuminate and water walking.

I think we should do everything we can to make sure another catastrophe like that doesn't happen...
Or if it does, we should be ready for it, right?
Besides, this is a way better alternative to getting one of those surgeries for healing powers...

I'm not familiar with those surgeries. Are they really that bad?

The side effects from those surgeries can be pretty intense. They last for a few days, I think, but it's hard to go through.
Some people get short-term memory loss and just generally feel sick after.
There are a lot of different surgeries LILITH offers, so maybe the side effects are different for each one... but none of it sounds safe to me.

I don't know how much I like the idea of allowing LILITH to cut me open.

Do you know anyone who has gone through them?
